Welcome to Hope Renews, Inc.,  a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to help families with children in residential treatment programs.  Help is provided through our grant program as well as through the information we disseminate through our newsletter and website.  Grants are awarded to eligible families who have demonstrated their commitment to the therapeutic progress and who are facing financial challenges.

The foundation was created in 2004 by several parents of children   who attended a residential treatment center near Salt Lake City.  So many families have benefited from the special care their children have received and have wanted to give back.  This foundation provides just such a vehicle.

The principal goal of the Hope Renews  is to raise money for children currently in residential treatment.  We believe a lack of personal  wealth should not be a barrier to this life changing help.  Through the newsletter and the website, we offer a different kind of help:  emotional support and information tools that help families to face the difficult moments as their child emerges into adulthood.

Many parents have felt isolated as their children have gone through the trauma that ends in a residential treatment program. There are few networks for families to call on for reassurance. The need to maintain privacy of families and students and our dispersion  throughout the country has exacerbated the problem. We hope the foundation can knit a community that can help us all.

Financial aid is the initial goal of the foundation. We want to meet the current needs of as many families as possible and also begin raising an endowment to carry the benefits of our work into the future.

"The kindness of our early donors   has been gratifying and their generosity has permitted us to begin making financial awards to several students."
